Selling Your Equipment To ARC

Does ARC buy generators regardless of operating hours?+

Hours matter, but maintenance history, load profile, documentation, and current condition often matter more than the number on the hour meter. A well maintained higher hour unit can still be a strong purchase.

Will you buy equipment that cannot be started or run?+

That is not automatically a deal breaker. We can work from records, fluid samples, borescope inspection, and other available documentation when equipment cannot be demonstrated running.

What documentation should I provide when selling my equipment?+

Rating plates and serial identification, operating hours and starts, maintenance and overhaul history, test reports, emissions certification, and any drawings or manuals you have on hand all help move an evaluation forward.

Do you provide a load bank test before purchase?+

A load bank test may be part of the evaluation depending on the equipment and its intended use. It gives both sides a clearer picture of how the unit performs under load.

Is there a warranty on equipment I sell to ARC?+

Warranty terms depend on the transaction and the equipment involved. Any warranty coverage, remedy, or exclusion is put in writing before the sale is finalized.

Can you handle pickup and logistics for equipment in any condition?+

Yes. Our team manages prep, rigging, loading, and transport, including equipment that is stored, disconnected, or already partially disassembled.
