6 Siemens SGT-A05 KB7S / 501-KB7S 5 MW-Class Mobile Natural Gas Turbine Generators
Location:Classified
Description
ARC Power Systems is offering six, low-hour Siemens 501-KB7S mobile natural-gas turbine generator packages. These units are available now and already configured on five-axle mobile trailers for rapid relocation, installation and deployment.
The six-unit fleet provides approximately 32 MW of aggregate generating capacity.
These packages are well suited for data centers, AI and HPC campuses, industrial facilities, microgrids, mining operations, critical infrastructure, distributed generation and bridge power while permanent utility capacity is being developed.
Power Ratings
Each package includes a Siemens 501-KB7S natural-gas turbine, Allen reduction gearbox and Ideal Electric synchronous generator.
- Gas-turbine rating: 5,220 kW at ISO conditions with no package losses
- Generator rating: 5,250 kVA
- Calculated output at 5,250 kVA and 0.90 power factor: 4,725 kW
- Voltage: 2,600 V
- Phase: 3-phase
- Frequency: 60Hz
- Generator speed: 1,800RPM
- Power class: approximately 5MW per package
- Six-unit fleet capacity: approximately 28.5MW
The packages are being marketed as 5 MW-class units because turbine output, generator capacity and net site output represent different rating boundaries. Final delivered output follows the ambient-temperature and elevation performance schedule together with the installed generator, switchgear and auxiliary-load limits.

Site-Condition Performance Reference
Gas-turbine output changes with ambient temperature and elevation.
- At 15°C: 5,149 kWe at sea level; 4,099 kWe at 6,000 feet
- At 25°C: 4,709 kWe at sea level; 3,749 kWe at 6,000 feet
- At 30°C: 4,475 kWe at sea level; 3,562 kWe at 6,000 feet

- At 45°C: 3,720 kWe at sea level; 2,954 kWe at 6,000 feet
Cold-condition turbine output can exceed the installed generator rating. Electrical delivery remains limited by the generator, switchgear, protection settings, auxiliary demand and project operating limits.
Fuel and Emissions
The packages are configured for natural gas and include Dry Low Emissions combustion.
The Siemens SGT-A05/501-KB7S family publishes DLE NOx capability at or below 25 ppmvd at 15% oxygen under the stated OEM operating conditions. Packages were designed around EPA 40 CFR Part 60 Subpart KKKK requirements.
Site Integration
This mobile package contains the turbine, gearbox, generator, controls, switchgear, auxiliary transformer, starting equipment, lubrication system, fire protection, inlet system and exhaust system.
