Description
ARC Power Systems is offering two unused Cummins C2000 N6CB enclosed natural gas generator packages. Each generator is rated 2,000 kW continuous at 12.47 kV, 60 Hz, three-phase, four-wire. Together, the two units provide 4 MW of continuous generation capacity.
The generators were purchased in December 2019 for a project that was subsequently canceled and were never placed into service. They are available as a complete two-unit package.
Each package is based on the Cummins QSV91G V18 lean-burn natural gas engine and includes a four-pole alternator through a gearbox, 105°C alternator temperature rise, permanent-magnet excitation, anti-condensation heater, engine jacket-water heater, and local generator controls.
Package equipment includes:
- Weather-protected, sound-attenuated generator enclosure
- Reported sound level of 70 dBA at 23 feet
- Ground-mounted horizontal-core remote radiator
- Natural gas fuel train with dual solenoids and interstitial leak detection
- 15 kV unfused isolation switch
- DC prelube pump and heater for standby or black-start service
- Oxidation catalyst
- Expansion bladder tank, gauges, switches, air separator and control valves
- Batteries, racks, cables and battery charger
- Lube-oil makeup tank and spill containment
- Flexible natural-gas, exhaust and HT/LT cooling connections
The overall offering reportedly includes two generator sets, two exhaust systems, two heat exchangers and ten individual breakers.
These medium-voltage generator packages are well suited for continuous power, industrial facilities, data-center infrastructure, utility support, microgrids, campus power and combined heat-and-power projects requiring high-capacity natural gas generation.
