5.64 MWh Battery Energy Storage Systems for Sale in the U.S.
Published:

150+ liquid cooled Brand New LFP battery containers available for immediate shipment through ARC Power Systems. Includes three year standard factory warranty.
For utilities, renewable energy developers and industrial operators, procuring battery storage means matching capacity, electrical requirements and delivery schedules to a real project. Having equipment already in the United States gives buyers a concrete starting point for that planning.
ARC Power Systems is offering 5.64 MWh battery energy storage systems in containers from U.S. inventory, with more than 150 units available for immediate shipment. Each container combines lithium iron phosphate batteries, liquid cooling, battery management and protective controls in a 20 ft enclosure.
These units are supplied as DC blocks only. PCS inverter-transformer skids are available separately at additional cost. We need the total order unit volume to price the PCS skids.

Why battery energy storage matters now
Electricity has to be available when customers need it. Solar production, industrial demand and the hours of highest electricity prices often follow different schedules. Battery energy storage systems, or BESS, let operators store electricity and dispatch it later.
The scale of adoption is significant. In its August 2026 update, the U.S. Energy Information Administration reported that U.S. utility-scale battery storage reached nearly 52 GW of nameplate power capacity by June 2026, following 8.3 GW of additions during the first half of the year. U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA)
For a project owner, storage can create value by shifting energy between hours, reducing peak grid demand or supporting a broader resilience strategy. The value depends on the electricity tariff, operating schedule, controls and complete system design.
What does 5.64 MWh mean in practical terms?
Megawatt-hours measure stored energy. Megawatts measure the rate at which energy can be charged or discharged. Buyers need both figures when sizing a storage project.
Each container has a rated energy capacity of 5,644.29 kWh and a rated DC charge/discharge power of 1,411.07 kW, approximately 1.411 MW. That nameplate energy-to-power ratio is approximately four hours, consistent with the unit’s ≤0.25P rating.
Four hour storage is relevant to applications that move electricity across several hours of the day. EIA describes four to eight hour batteries as commonly serving daily energy shifting, including storing midday solar production for evening use. U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA)
The four hour figure is a nominal DC nameplate ratio. Usable energy, operating duration and delivered AC power depend on the PCS, state-of-charge limits, auxiliary loads, losses, battery condition and project operating requirements.
Where these LFP BESS containers fit
Solar and renewable energy projects
Battery storage can capture energy during periods of strong renewable production and deliver it later. For solar developers, this can support evening dispatch and help manage periods when production exceeds demand or export capacity. The U.S. Department of Energy explains how storage helps align solar generation with electricity needs. Department of Energy
Commercial and industrial peak shaving
Manufacturing plants, distribution facilities and other large electricity users can evaluate BESS for peak shaving: discharging stored energy to reduce the highest levels of grid demand. This can reduce demand charges where the utility tariff rewards that operating strategy. A facility’s interval load data and electricity bill provide the starting point for sizing and savings analysis. U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA)
Utility-scale storage and grid services
Utilities, independent power producers and storage developers can combine multiple containers into larger projects. Potential uses include energy shifting and grid services. Participation in a particular market depends on the selected PCS, plant controls, interconnection approval and applicable operating requirements.
Microgrids and generator hybrid systems
A properly designed microgrid can coordinate batteries with generation, renewable resources and site loads. Storage can help manage changing demand and support an operating strategy that uses each resource effectively. The inverter capabilities, protection scheme and control system determine how the complete installation operates during grid-connected and islanded conditions. Department of Energy
Data centers and critical facilities
Data center and critical-facility buyers can assess these containers for campus energy management and engineered resilience. The complete design must address required power, backup duration, transfer timing, islanding capability, protection and redundancy. Those capabilities are established through the integrated electrical system and its controls.
ARC also offers utility and data center power equipment for buyers evaluating storage alongside generation assets.
U.S. availability and transparent hardware pricing
Three year standard factory warranty
These units come with a three year standard factory warranty beginning at purchase/payment. Warehouse storage does not reduce the buyer’s warranty term.
Coverage, capacity retention and performance obligations follow the written factory warranty and performance schedule. ARC can provide the applicable documentation as part of the technical and commercial review.
Questions buyers ask about these BESS units
Is the PCS included in the container price?
The listed price covers the DC battery block. PCS inverter-transformer skids are available at additional cost. Total order unit volume is required to price PCS skids. The PCS connects the battery’s DC side with the project’s AC electrical system.
Can these batteries operate with generators or solar?
They can be evaluated for an engineered hybrid installation. Compatibility and operating functions depend on the selected PCS, energy management controls, switchgear, protection and project design. ARC can discuss the equipment scope for your application.
What does EXW mean for the buyer?
EXW means ex works: the quoted equipment price is based on collection at the named warehouse. Freight, applicable taxes and project installation are additional to the listed unit price. Collection and loading arrangements are addressed in the final quotation and purchase terms.
Do the containers have Safe Harbor registration?
Please note that BESS hardware inherently does not hold a standalone, manufacturer-level “Safe Harbor registration.” Safe Harbor is established at the project developer level under applicable tax rules. The IRS’s investment credit instructions describe beginning-of-construction requirements at the facility, energy-storage-technology or project level. Your project’s tax team should assess the applicable eligibility and documentation requirements. Internal Revenue Service
