Here is something most buyers learn too late: the best gas turbine opportunities are often spoken for long before a listing ever reaches Google.
That is not because someone is playing games. Usually, it is the opposite. When a real plant is being retired, dismantled, or cleared for a new project, the owner wants a clean transaction, a qualified buyer, and as few extra voices as possible.
The minute a turbine package gets blasted across the market, everyone starts forwarding it. Prices change. Details get watered down. People who have never stepped inside the plant suddenly claim to represent it. By the time the opportunity reaches a serious buyer, nobody is quite sure who controls the equipment—or what is actually included.
We would rather keep the room small.
Some of Our Best Turbine Projects Will Never Be Public
ARC Power Systems maintains a public selection of gas turbines and power-plant equipment. But public inventory is only part of what moves through our network.
We have removal projects coming up. Some involve equipment that may never be photographed for a public listing, promoted on social media, or circulated through the usual broker channels. The owners want discretion. We agree with them.
These opportunities will be shared privately with people whose project, timing, technical requirements, and ability to transact make sense. Controlled file shares. That protects the seller. It protects the equipment. It also helps keep unnecessary markups out of the buyer's price.
We Go to the Plant
There are plenty of people selling turbines from a laptop and a recycled photo folder. That is not how ARC works.
Our team brings more than 80 years of combined experience in plant asset management, engineering, equipment sales and acquisitions, heavy rigging, dismantling, and removal. More importantly, we put that experience on the ground.
We personally walk the site with the people who will help make sense of it: plant-asset professionals, engineers, technical specialists, and rigging and removal experts. We look at the turbine-generator package, auxiliaries, controls, access, lifting points, crane areas, trucking routes, staging space, and the equipment that must remain behind.
A JPEG cannot tell you whether the package is complete. It cannot explain how the unit comes out of the building. It cannot show you which systems are shared with the rest of the plant. And it certainly cannot load the turbine onto a truck.
We move fast, but we do not move loose. The goal is to understand the asset, keep the transaction chain clean, and plan the removal before it becomes somebody else's expensive surprise.
One Team From the First Call to Final Loadout
Large turbine transactions usually send a buyer in five directions: one person has the introduction, another has the technical documents, someone else controls the site visit, a separate group handles the contract, and the rigging company shows up at the end.
ARC is built to keep those pieces connected. We can help source the opportunity, qualify the project, organize the available records, coordinate the site walkdown, define the included equipment, structure the commercial path, and work with the removal team through loadout.
No theater. No twenty-person broker chain. No mystery PDF that has been passed around six times.
Just a serious power asset, a serious buyer, and experienced people working through the details.
Tell Us What You Are Actually Looking For
We are building a short list of qualified buyers for upcoming turbine and power-plant removal projects. We are not looking to create another giant email list. We want to know who you are, what you are building, how much power you need, where the project is going, and when you need the equipment.
If you are an end user, EPC, developer, investor-backed buyer, or broker working with a real principal, complete the ARC Buyer Qualification Form. Please fill it out completely, including your company information, direct contact details, role, project location, approximate MW requirement, and delivery window.
The clearer the request, the faster we can determine whether one of our public or private opportunities belongs in the conversation.
Private means private. We will only release confidential project details, locations, records, and site access when the buyer and the requirement are a credible fit.
Quick Questions
Why are some turbine opportunities never advertised?
Because the owner wants a controlled sale without exposing the plant, pricing, or operating plans to the entire market. A private process also reduces duplicated broker chains and unnecessary site traffic.
What makes someone a qualified buyer?
A qualified buyer can identify the company and decision-makers, explain the project, define the MW and technical need, provide a realistic schedule, and demonstrate a credible ability to complete the purchase. We work with underwriters who know how to qualify a buyer.
Can brokers submit the form?
Yes—when they are working with a real principal and can clearly explain their role. We respect legitimate representatives, but we will not feed confidential plant information into an uncontrolled chain.
What happens after the form is submitted?
ARC reviews the company, project, equipment requirement, and timeline. If a current or upcoming opportunity appears to fit, our team will contact you directly about the next step.
